The CANVAS COMPETITION is a 3-way barter between artist, business, and A&E. The only commerce involved is when a piece is purchased.
A&E has a panel of formally educated artists who go through painting submissions for registered businesses. We choose our top 10 favorite paintings based on the business style criteria, business target audience, size requirements, craftsmanship, composition balance, etc.
The business then selects their favorite art piece among those top 10!
The winners show their work and a small artist statement for 12 weeks until a new winner is selected!
Your art work will be available for purchase on this website but will always remain in the business until the 12 weeks has ended!
You are responsible for the transportation of your work to and from the business.
If your are a selected winner you must deliver your work within 5 days of winner announcement!
A&E takes none of the profits from your purchased art!
If your piece is purchases from the A&E website you will be immediately notified and receive your payment via PayPal, Venmo, or Check. Your choice!

Q: Can customers purchase directly from me?
A: Yes! All we ask is that you notify us so that we can mark your item as sold.
Q: What happens if I can’t deliver my piece on time?
A: Contact us. You have 3 days after the agreed date to deliver your piece before the business can select a new winner.
Q: When does the 12 weeks begin if I can’t deliver my piece on time?
A: The 12 weeks begins at the original date. If you miss the date you miss out on exposure time.
Q: What happens to my piece if I can’t pick it up before the next winner puts their piece up?
A: An A&E representative will collect the piece to give back to you on a later date.
Q: Can I talk about this on my social media?
A: Absolutely! We encourage it!
